Mega Bloks: Fun for Kids Ages One and Up!

On a recent Saturday morning, thanks to Mommy Parties, I had the privilege of hosting a Mega Bloks party for Little Bug and several of our kid and mommy friends.  We had a fun time playing with Mega Bloks’ Jungle Friends and Garden Friends 18-piece kits.

The kids and moms gathered around our coffee table and let me just say – the kids had a blast!  First everyone decorated their bloks with their animal or garden stickers.  Moms helped the kiddos with this part.

Then Little Bug and his friends were ready to start building…and demolishing too!

This creature was a Pargirzeti.  (Parrot-giraffe-zebra-tiger).

Sophia, four years old, had a great time building a “castle.”  When it was time to leave, she was so excited that she was allowed to keep her Mega Bloks Garden Friends kit.  I believe her exact words were, “This is for me?!?”

The moms were definitely a fan of the zippered bag that contains the Mega Bloks kits.  Several commented on how great it was that the toy came with such a nice bag to store the bloks when they aren’t being used.  I think they would be a great toy to bring along for car rides, doctor appointments or anywhere that little ones will feel bored and could use a fun activity to help pass the time.

If you’re shopping for any kiddos this Christmas season, Mega Bloks make wonderful gifts for kids.  They have a great variety of toys with popular character themes that kids love, like The Smurfs, Thomas the Train and many more.  Be sure to sign up for their Family Club since they offer great printable coupons from time to time!  Also make sure to follow Mega Bloks on Facebook and Twitter, so you don’t miss out on special news and offers!

This post was made possible through Mommy Parties.  I was provided with free Mega Bloks toys in order to host the party.  The opinions stated in this post are 100% my own.
